Instant brings back the magic of the iconic Polaroid instant camera to your iPhone. At the touch of a finger, users can shoot a new picture using the camera on the iPhone or select an existing one from their photo album, apply an authentic Polaroid-like filter, add Polaroid class border and write text on it, thus, compose a classic Polaroid instant photo.
Instant app mimics the workflow of a real classic Polaroid instant camera, with realistic visual and sound effects. Upon selecting or shooting a photo, an "undeveloped" dark Polaroid film slides out from the top of the screen. Slowly the film is developed and the final picture unveils.
The app comes with 30 unique vintage style photo filters, with 10 of them closely mimicking the effects of various classic Polaroid films. Each filter is adjustable in strength, vignette and emulsion artifacts, adding even more realistic Polaroid look. Users may also add text to their Polaroid photo, selecting from 10 handwriting style fonts. Text can be freely resized, rotated and moved around by finger gestures. Users can also adjust the effect of the Polaroid border, such as choosing from 26 different colors, adding crosshatch, stain, wrinkle and fingerprints on to the border.
The Polaroid photos can be saved to your photo library and easily shared via Email, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, Instagram (requires Instagram app pre-installed) and Sina Weibo.

It is definitely easy to use and I live the retro feel of the Polaroid! A must app for scrapbookers!!
After using Instant for about a week or so now I absolutely like it a lot for photo filtering however, it would be cool if some capabilities where added.
Like being able to use a paint brush on specific areas of a photo to dial in certain levels of Intensity, Vignette, Emulsion, Grain effect.
Now that instagram has gone completely gross flat and trendy, this is the ONLY app in the App Store that gives you the TRUE nostalgic feeling of taking an analog photo.
The Instant icon is beautiful. The interface is beautiful as well.

I am a retired professional photographer. I spent my entire career making "perfect" images for employers and clients. Now is my time. Now I make images that I want. The way I want. This app is such a relief from the grind of making squeaky clean images. I used many Polaroids in my day and this app hits the spot! Lately I have been using Hipstamatic which is a creative heavy weight. But there is something about this app. Great fun. Not too complex but does everything it needs to do. The only way I judge my photography these days is with the "fun scale". And this app is Fun. Job well done!
There arent many apps I would spend money on. But this one seemed to be worth the price, and I was right! Everything about this app SCREAMS vintage Polaroid- from the camera itself to the effects you can put over the photos (text, vintage filters, and even FINGERPRINTS!). Its also cute that you can blow on or shake your phone to get your picture to "develop." Its perfect for someone who wants the vintage fun of a Polaroid camera without the Polaroid camera price. Ill be using this app to create my boyfriends gift for our anniversary
This is the best photo app i have ever used. The experience using this app gives me an addictive desire to take photos. my girl like this app.
Some bad moments
This worked great two years ago. Now I cant seem to print this without the file being too big. Theres other apps out there that are up to date better off spending money there.
app hasnt been updated in a while. skewed by positive reviews i wish i hadnt spent the $2, wasnt worth it IMO.

Dont make your app paying if youre not sure it works on EVERY devices, or at least clarify it. Stealers.
Very crashy so far. Usually a stable app but not so version--look forward to bug fixes...
